The art is simple and ok, the expressions and movements are fine and the details fit with that kind of comic. A small background would be nice in there but it doesn't matter.
But overall, this comic is a very bad example for every artist. It tells you to ignore critiques, which are very important to make progress. Also, I have to agree with the man in blue : this comic is too predictable. The "sound of nobody caring" joke has been already used a lot of times.
You should NEVER ignore criticism, they are what makes you a good artist
While is it fairly based, I do believe you missed half the point. The description talks about the message the artist is trying to get across, which is that comedy is subjective, and you can't just put it into scientific phrasing about how it should be just because you didn't like the joke. He's not ignoring criticism in the comic, he's ignoring the people who tend to over analyze everything and think that they know everything because they read it on wikipedia.
